My standards were developed based on my study and research of commonly accepted and acknowledged frameworks, standards and preschool outcomes (including many individual U.S. State's and other country's frameworks - such as Head Start, EYLF, DRDP and my own established preschool standards).

These standards will help you know which age-appropriate skills you are helping your preschoolers develop with each activity, while providing a guide to help you determine which of YOUR required standards you are meeting.

Completed Weekly and Daily Planning Forms

This is a “week at a glance” form which lists the activity names, organized by day, and the standards each activity meets, below it! The numbers within the activity boxes are the references to my Preschool Plan It Standards that the activity is aligned to.

Each theme comes with a printable 8 X 10 song poster and corresponding 3 X 5 song card.

Each poster has the words to a favorite preschool song with a few images added. Your preschoolers can “read” along as they sing!

Fill Your Unexpected (or expected!) Transition Times.

Each theme comes with a 3 X 5 song card of the same song in the poster. The card has the name of the song and a picture to help describe the song. 

Print and laminate each of these cards and put them on a ring or in a small can or box. When you have a few minutes you need to fill, or the children need some redirection (think of hand washing time or waiting to be picked up to go home!), just pull out your collection of song cards, pick one and sing your way through the transition!

Themed and Patterned Calendar Pieces

Each theme includes calendar pieces for the month with themed images! Some themes are AB patterns, some are ABC patterns and some more complex patterns.

Q: Will I get to choose my themes each month? 

A: YES! You will be able to choose your own 4 themes each month from the ever-growing list of themes inside the membership site library! 

Q: Which themes will I receive each month?  

A: Again, you will choose the themes you want each month from the ever growing selection of themes in your Member's Area! (There are over 300 in there right now and I add 2-4 new themes each month.)  

Q: If I choose the annual payment option, can I access a year's worth of themes right away?  

A: No. Preschool Cubby is a monthly program, meaning that 4 themes are accessible each month, regardless of whether you pay monthly or choose to pay once each year. I offer the one year payment to save teachers some money ( If you choose the annual payment, you save 20% off the monthly cost by paying up front).  

Q: How does payment work?  

A: Preschool Cubby is an auto-renewal program. This means your card will be charged AUTOMATICALLY.

If you choose the monthly payment option, your card will be charged every 30 days.  

If you choose the annual payment option, your card will be charged each year from the day you sign up (Don't worry - I will send you a renewal reminder email 7-10 days before your annual renewal, so you know it's coming!  

Q: Can you mail the themes to my home or school?  

A: The themes packets are not, at this time, available in hard copy format. They are in digital (online) format only (in a PDF document) for you to download. They're designed to be easily printed.  

Q: How do I download the themes to my computer?  

A: Once you unlock a theme, you simply click the "Download Theme" button to open the theme, then click "File" then "Save As" and save the theme to your computer!  

They are all in PDF format, so be sure you have the most current version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer (Adobe Reader is FREE!).  

Q: Can I download the packets to my mobile device?  

A: I recommend downloading them to your computer first and then sending them to your mobile device. Not all mobile devices download PDFs well.  

Q: Do your standards meet my state or country's required standards and frameworks?  

A: The standards are not yet aligned to any one specific state or country's preschool standards. They were, however, developed based on my research and study of many of the commonly accepted standards used with the most common domains and child outcomes applied.  

My Preschool Plan Its Standards include a conversion chart with a section for you to list your own state or country's equivalent standard, allowing you to use the conversion chart as a reference sheet when using themes from Preschool Cubby.  

Q: What if I don't like the program after I sign up?  

A: Don't worry about spending the money and then changing your mind. I know all about tight budgets, and I want to be sure you spend every dime wisely.
